How to set up notification options when a visitor is NOT hosted by an employee

From time to time a visitor will elect NOT to be hosted by an employee.

In this video we show you how you can still have nominated people notified that the visitor has arrived onsite.

To setup Visitor Notifications where the visitor is not being hosted by an employee:

  1. Select Tools (Upper toolbar)
  2. Select Locations (located in the Tools dropdown)
  3. Select the View button located alongside the Location name you wish to setup these notifications for.
  4. From the options for the location on the left side of the screen scroll down to Visitor Notification Alerts
  5. Select the tab titled No Host Selected
  6. You can now add up to 3 email addresses (2 can be from the employee list for the location, and 1 can be a generic email address) to be notified in the event a visitor signs in and is not being hosted by an employee.
  7. You can now add up to 3 sms (text)  recipients (2 can be from the employee list for the location, and 1 can be a generic mobile number) to be notified in the event a visitor signs in and is not being hosted by an employee.
  8. Select SAVE
