Setting Up Token Types

How to Setup Token Types

When the Identity Manager logs in they can access the Identity Manager function from the home screen.

  1. Select the green View button beside Identity Manager.

The Identity Manager has 4 built-in Identity Token types:

  1. Access Control
  2. Driver’s License
  3. ID Card
  4. Proof of Age

You can rename these, remove them, and create new ones.

How to edit an existing Token Name

To edit a Token the user selects the green Edit button. Updates the token, and selects Save.

How to create a new Token

  1. To create a new Token the user selects Create a new Token ID Type
  2. Enter a Name for the Token and select Save

The new token will now appear in the Active Tokens list.

Make a Token Inactive

  1. To make a Token Inactive select the red Deactivate button alongside the respective Token.
  2. Anyone with a token of this type will not be able to use it to scan in or out of a location.

Delete a Token

  1. To Delete a Token select the grey Delete button alongside the respective Token.
  2. Anyone with a token of this type will not be able to use it to scan in or out of a location.
  3. You cannot delete Tokens that have Token holders assigned to them. You can only deactivate them.
