Who can add qualifications to an employee’s profile?

Users with the Administrator user role can add qualifications to an employee’s profile

Who can add qualifications to a service provider member’s profile?

Users with the Service Provider Managers user role can add qualifications to a service provider member’s profile.

Adding a Qualification – the Basics

When you add a qualification to a person’s profile you can record:

  • When the qualification was gained (earned, passed,). We call this the Valid From Date and;
  • When the qualification expires or requires renewal. We call this the Valid To

Qualification Manager’s can also access Qualification Reporting to identify who is qualified against a specific qualification, and who has a qualification expiring in a defined period.

Adding a Qualification to an Employee's Profile

In this article we explain how to add a Qualification to an employee’s profile.

Only Administrators can add qualifications to employees’ profiles.

Instructions for adding a qualification to an employee’s profile

  1. Go to: Tools > Locations and select the green View button where the employee is based.
  2. Select Employees from the directory on the left.
  3. Use the keyword search tool to find a specific employee
  4. Once found select the green View button beside their name.
  5. The employee’s profile is now open.
  6. Select Employee Qualifications from the directory on the left.
  7. To add a qualification select the green Add Qualification
  8. Select the Qualification by using the Filter by Type option and/or by selecting the qualification from the Qualification pick list.
  9. Enter a Valid From date
  10. Enter a Valid To Date

Note: ‘From’ and ‘To’ dates are not mandatory however Qualification Expiry Reports will not include this person’s qualifications if dates are not applied.

  1. Select Save & Next
  2. To add a document use the Select File option (note a document is not mandatory)
  3. Once a document is uploaded you can rename it, remove it, and view and download it.
  4. Select Save & Close
  5. The qualification is now added to the employee’s profile.

You can view the qualification to update it, view logs for any changes to the qualification record, and remove the qualification.

Adding a Qualification to a Service Provider’s Profile

In this article we explain how to add a Qualification to a service provider member’s profile.

Only Service Provider Managers can add qualifications to a service provider member’s profiles.

Instructions for adding a qualification to a service provider member’s profile

  1. Go to: Home > Service Provider Manager
  2. Select Members from the directory on the left.
  3. Use the keyword search tool to find a specific employee
  4. Once found select the green View button beside their name.
  5. The service provider’s profile is now open.
  6. Select Qualifications from the directory on the left.
  7. To add a qualification select the green Add Qualification
  8. Select the Qualification by using the Filter by Type option and/or by selecting the qualification from the Qualification pick list.
  9. Enter a Valid From date
  10. Enter a Valid To Date

Note: ‘From’ and ‘To’ dates are not mandatory however Qualification Expiry Reports will not include this person’s qualifications if dates are not applied.

  1. Select Save & Next
