Trigger FAQ's

How many Events can we create? As many as you like.

How many Rules can you create with an Event? As many as you like.

How many Actions can you create with a Trigger? As many as you like.

If multiple Events are triggered due to a single person signing in or out how many of them run and how many Actions fire? All of them.

Can I view Logs and Reports on how many times a Trigger is fired? Yes go to Triggers and select Logs.

What happens to a person who signs in but is denied access through a Deny Access Action. Is there a record this occurred? Yes go to Reporting > People Presence, select the Location the event occurred at, select the person type (visitor, employee, service provider), and date period, and then View Report. The transaction will show as having signed in and out without any time onsite and the method of sign out (Sign Out Mode) was ‘Auto’

What is a Pop up Message? means a message that you create will be displayed on the screen after the event has triggered. If the event is triggered at a kiosk, the message will appear on the kiosk screen. If the event is triggered by a location manager or a signed in employee, the message will appear on the users screen.

What does the Deny Access Pop mean? means the guest will be denied access to the location and the message you create will be displayed on the screen after the event has triggered. If the event is triggered at a kiosk, the message will appear on the kiosk screen. If the event is triggered by a location manager or a signed in employee, the message will appear on the users screen. When someone is denied access a record is created in Reporting showing them having been onsite for ‘0’ minutes.
