WOL eLearning Course Assets

Course assets are a collection of images, videos, and documents that you can use to quickly insert into one or more courses.

Adding Course Assets

1. Navigate to Tools > Induction Management

2. Click on Online Course Assets in the left-hand side panel

Note: You can add categories for your assets from this screen, for more details see the section Course Asset Categories below. 

3. Click Add New Course Asset

4. Select the category for the asset (If you have no categories, or do not want a category, leave this as ‘None”)

5. Choose either, video, image, or document -

Videos: Enter a URL of a video to embed.
Images: Select an image from your computer to upload to the library
Documents: Can be a word document or pdf that is downloaded via a link in your induction course.

6. Select your file, or enter your URL, and click Ok (or save) to upload

7. You can change the category and name of your asset by clicking the View button for that asset, making changes, and clicking Save and Close

Once your Online Course Assets are set up you can insert them easily into your induction courses.

Course Asset Categories

To keep your course assets organised, you may want to set up course asset categories. This will give you the ability to keep related course assets together making them easier to find when creating course content.
To add a new category, either:

1. Navigate to Tools > Induction Management

2. In the left-hand side panel click Course Assets Categories

3. Click Add New Category

4. Enter the category name

5. Click Save

Or:

1. Navigate to Tools > Induction Management

2. In the left-hand side panel click Online Course Assets

3. Click Add New Category

4. Enter the category name

5. Click Save
