Changelog 52 - GDPR Features and Employee Badge Passes

For our May 2018 product update, we are very proud to announce the release of GDPR related features, badge passes for employees, and a new recipient type for trigger notifications.

GDPR Features

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a new comprehensive data protection law that strengthens the protection of personal data. GDPR is an EU regulation and takes effect on May 25, 2018. To help our customers adhere to the standards we have release several new features.

These include the ability to erase a visitor's personal information from your account manually or automatically, a privacy disclaimer for photo capture, and visitor opt-in to being remembered by your Kiosk or Sign In/Out Manager.

Employee Badge Passes

Previously, you have only ever been able to print badge passes for visitors and service providers. We have now released the ability to print badge passes for employees.

Because most of the time employees won't need badge passes printed, we have also developed rules which allow you to only print badges in specific scenarios, e.g. employees visiting from another location.

Trigger Notification Recipient

This change to trigger notification recipients gives you the ability to send trigger notifications to Service Providers with specific Contact Role Types.

This recipient option is only available for Service Provider based trigger events as it will only send notifications to members of a Service Providers own organization. An example of this could be a notification to the role type Policy Owner will send a notification to the Policy Owner members of that Service Provider's organization.
