Learn how to deactivate an employee’s or contractor member’s access to OnLocation Mobile. Either deactivate their access in their profile or use the run an action menu to deactivate multiple users.
Deactivating OnLocation Mobile will log users out of the app and remove their access.
Their unique activation code will refresh. If you need to reinstate their access, send them the new code.

Remove access for employees
You’ll need the Administrator user role to access these settings.
Single employee
- Go to Tools > Locations.
- Click View next to your location.
- Select Employees from the menu on the left.
- Click View next to the employee.
- Select OnLocation Mobile from the menu on the left.
- Click Deactivate.
- Click Yes to confirm.
Multiple employees
- Go to Tools > Locations.
- Click View next to your location.
- Select Employees from the left-hand menu.
- Select the checkboxes next to the employees whose access you’d like to remove.
- Click Run an action, then select Deactivate OnLocation Mobile. Click Ok to confirm.
Remove access for contractors
You’ll need the Contractor Manager user role to access these settings.
Single contractor member
- Go to Tools > Contractor Manager.
- Select Members from the menu on the left.
- Click View next to the member.
- Select OnLocation Mobile from the menu on the left.
- Click Deactivate.
- Click Yes to confirm.
Multiple contractor members
- Go to Tools > Contractor Manager.
- Select Members from the menu on the left.
- Select the checkboxes next to the members whose access you’d like to remove.
- Click Run an action, then select Deactivate OnLocation Mobile. Click Ok to confirm.
