Your scanner options depend on the type of device you are using for your kiosk.
Scan QR codes using the built-in iPad camera or barcodes and QR codes using the Socket Mobile scanner connected through Bluetooth.

There is no built-in scanner on a Windows tablet but you can use any plug and play scanner, we have recommended one of many options below. You can also use an RFID reader to read access control cards, the pcProx Plus reader can read a wide variety of frequency cards, however, you can use any RFID reader that can read the frequency of your cards.

You can use any plug and play scanner for scanning barcodes. You can also use an RFID reader to read access control cards. The pcProx Plus reader can read a wide variety of frequency cards, however, you can use any RFID reader that can read the frequency of your cards.
For a receptionist using a computer to sign people in and out, you can scan visitor photo ID’s using the WolScan app on an iPhone. This is an optional security measure used to record your visitors’ IDs.
You can use WolScan on any iPhone running on iOS 8 or later. We recommend using the most recent iOS.
