Clone a trigger

Once you've created a trigger, you can clone it to add a similar trigger for your location, or to use it in another location. You need the Administrator and Triggers Manager user role to access these settings.

Many of your triggers will have only subtle differences in their rule or action. To help speed up the process of creating triggers with similar properties, you can clone a trigger. A cloned trigger will show in the location's list of triggers, where you can then edit the details, rules, and actions.

Clone a trigger to the same location

  1. Go to Tools > Locations.
  2. Click View next to the location.
  3. Select Triggers from the menu on the left.
  4. Click Clone next to the trigger.
