Schedule where you'll be working with OnLocation Mobile

Learn how to schedule where you'll be working with OnLocation Mobile. Choose if you'll work remotely or on-site in the coming days or weeks. Your organization's administrator has chosen which options and settings are available to you. 

How it works

Use scheduling in OnLocation Mobile to book when you are working remotely or on-site. This article assumes that your organization has enabled the employee scheduling and desks and spaces add-ons.

If your organization has not enabled desks and spaces, you won't be able to select a workspace when confirming your schedule. 

You can make single or multiple bookings. If you book for multiple days, your workspace will be the same for each selected date. To use different workspaces on each day, make single bookings. 

If your organization has enabled shared schedules for the location, you will be able to see any team member who has also booked at this location.

Once you've made a booking, you'll receive a notification the day before reminding you of your booking. 

Make a booking

Single day

  1. Tap the menu icon in the top left corner, then tap My Schedule
  2. Today's date is indicated in green. Select a day on the calendar, then tap Confirm.

  3. Select the location, then use the switch to book for all or part of a day.
  4. Tap Scheduling Mode to choose if you'll be working on-site or remotely. 
  5. Tap Create booking.

  6. For on-site bookings, select the zone you'll be working in, then tap Confirm. The number of available spaces displays next to the zone group name.

  7. Choose the workspace, then tap Confirm workspace.

  8. Check that the booking details are correct:

    Tap Edit if you need to change any details.
    Tap Delete if you need to cancel the booking.
    Tap the map icon to view the floor plan to see where the workspace is located.
    Tap Book again to create another booking for the same day.
    Tap Done to return to My Schedule.

Multiple days

  1. Tap the menu icon in the top left corner, then tap My Schedule
  2. Select the days in the calendar and tap Confirm or tap the list icon in the top right corner, select the dates from the list, then tap Confirm.

  3. Select the location, scheduling mode, and duration, then tap Create booking.

  4. For on-site bookings, select the zone you'll work in, then tap Confirm. The number of available spaces displays next to the zone group name.

  5. Choose the workspace, then tap Confirm workspace. You'll be booked into the same workspace for each scheduled day.

  6. Check that the booking details are correct:

    Tap Edit if you need to change the details.
    Tap the map icon to view the floor plan to see where the workspace is located.
    Tap Delete if you need to cancel the booking.
    Tap Book again to create another booking for the same day.
    Tap Done to return to My Schedule.

Manage your bookings

Edit a booking

  1. Tap the menu icon in the top left corner, then tap My Schedule
  2. Tap on the booking you'd like to update.

  3. Tap Edit next to the details you'd like to change.

  4. Update the booking details, then click Confirm.

Delete a booking

  1. Tap the menu icon in the top left corner, then tap My Schedule
  2. Tap on the booking you'd like to update.

  3. Tap Delete to cancel the booking, then tap Delete again to confirm.
