About mobile sign‑in colour differentiation

The mobile sign‑in screen has been enhanced to display distinct colours for each person type. This visual update makes it easier to quickly identify how someone has signed in, especially in environments with multiple locations and high daily sign‑in volumes.

Each person type is now associated with a specific colour on the mobile sign‑in success screen. This colour appears alongside the confirmation icon and 'You’ve signed in successfully' message.

This helps ensure that:

  • Contractors sign in under the correct category
  • Visitors are clearly distinguishable from employees
  • On‑site teams can visually confirm sign‑in type at a glance

Sign-in types and associated colours

The following colours are used to represent each sign‑in type on the mobile sign‑in screen:

Visitor - Green

Used for standard visitors and pre‑registered visitors attending a site for meetings, events, or short‑term visits.

Contractor - Orange

Used for contractors and third‑party workers who are on‑site to perform services, maintenance, or project‑based work.

Employee - Blue

Used for internal employees signing in to confirm their presence on‑site during work hours.

Community Member - Purple

Used for approved community members who regularly access the site but are not classified as employees or contractors.

Each colour is automatically applied after a successful sign‑in and consistently reflects the person type selected during sign‑in.
