Send an OnPass or questionnaire to your pre-registered visitor

Learn how to send your visitors an OnPass or pre-visit questionnaire. Any employee with access to MRI OnLocation can send them to their own visitors.

How it works

OnPass

OnPass is an email confirmation that includes event information for your visitors. To send an OnPass:

Sending an OnPass may have been automated by an OnPass Manager. They can choose if an OnPass is sent when an event is created, once the visitor completes their profile, or if it must be sent manually. Check the help tip next to the OnPass button to find out your location's settings. 

Pre-visit questionnaire

A pre-visit questionnaire is a set of questions that the visitor must answer before they visit. To send a questionnaire:

Sending a questionnaire may have been automated by an Administrator. They can choose if a questionnaire is sent X hours or days before an event or if it must be sent manually. Check the help tip next to the questionnaire button to find out your location's settings.

Send an OnPass

  1. Go to My Visitors > Pre-Register Visitors.
  2. Click Send invitation next to your visitor, then select Send OnPass.

  3. Check the visitor’s email address has been added correctly. Click Send, then click Yes to confirm.

    For a group of visitors, select the visitors using the checkboxes and click Send OnPass to Selected.


  4. The date and time the OnPass was sent will appear. Click Close

Your list of pre-registered visitors will update to show that an OnPass was sent.

If you have a group event, it will show how many out of a total number of people were sent an OnPass.

Resend an OnPass

If you update a pre-registered visit event or your OnPass gets updated with different information, resend the updated OnPass to your visitors:

  1. Click Send invitation next to the visitor, then select OnPass sent.
  2. Select the checkbox next to their name.
  3. Click Send OnPass to Selected.

Send a questionnaire

  1. Go to My Visitors > Pre-Register Visitors.
  2. Click Send invitation next to your visitor, then select Send questionnaire.

  3. Check the visitor’s email address is correct. Click Send, then click Yes to confirm.



    For a group of visitors, select the visitors using the checkboxes and click Send Questionnaires to Selected.
  4. The date and time the OnPass was sent will display. Click Close

Your list of pre-registered visitors will update to show that a questionnaire was sent.

If you have a group event, it will show how many out of the total number of people were sent a questionnaire.

Resend a questionnaire

If your location updates a visitor pre-registration questionnaire, you may need to resend the questionnaire invitation to your visitors:

  1. Click Send invitation next to the visitor, then select Questionnaire sent.
  2. Select the checkbox next to their name.
  3. Click Send Questionnaire to Selected.
Next step: If the visitor has not answered their pre-visit questions, you will see a flag next to them on your Pre-Register Visitors page. This will also be visible to front-of-house staff in Sign In/Out Manager.
