Add eLearning course assets or asset categories

Course assets are a collection of images, videos, and documents that you can use to quickly insert into one or more courses.

Add a course asset category

To keep your course assets organized, you may like to set up course asset categories. This will give you the ability to keep related course assets together making them easier to find when creating course content.

To add a new category from the Online Course Assets screen:

1. Go to Tools > Induction Management.
2. Select Online Course Assets from the menu on the left.
   
   
3. Click Add New Category.
4. Enter the category name.
5. Click Save.
   
   
   

To add a new category from the Course Assets Categories screen:

1. Go to Tools > Induction Management.
2. Select Course Assets Categories from the menu on the left.
3. Click Add New Category.
   
4. Enter the category name.
5. Click Save

Add a course asset

1. Go to Tools > Induction Management.
2. Select Online Course Assets in the menu on the left. 
3. Click Add New Course Asset.
   
4. Choose the category for the asset. If you have no categories or do not want a category, select None. 
5. Click on the icon for the asset type: video, image, or document.
   
   
6. Add the asset. For images and documents – Choose a file from your computer. For videos, add the URL to embed the video. 

To update the asset later, click View then make the required changes. Click Delete to remove the asset.
